Rubber ball is one of the special equipment used with vibrating screen, so it can also be called vibrating screen rubber ball, rubber elastic ball and rubber bouncing ball.

 

The reason why it can be called bouncing ball is that the rubber ball itself has good elastic performance, which can make cyclic jumping in the middle of the vibrating screen and constantly hit the mesh of the screen. The vibration force generated can shake the materials attached to the net down.

 

The main function of rubber ball is to clean the materials adhered to the screen and screen holes, improve the screening efficiency of materials, avoid material waste and mesh blockage, and improve the output of products.

 

At present, the rubber ball of vibrating screen has a good cleaning effect for viscous materials in industries such as food, medicine, mining, metallurgy and so on, so it is widely used. However, attention should also be paid to the density and proportion of rubber balls on each screening equipment during use. If the number of rubber balls is too large, it may not only cause the loss of screening equipment, but also pollute materials.

 

Rubber ball also belongs to a mechanical seal. The hardness is generally 50-90 degrees. The material is usually  NBR rubber and FKM / FPM rubber, also could be silicone rubber etc.
